Task:
- Distribution and management of farmland water conservancy water.
- Maintain orderly use of irrigation water and guidance of water conservancy committee affairs.
- Construction, management, improvement and maintenance of farmland water conservancy facilities.
- Disaster prevention and post-disaster response measures for farmland water conservancy facilities.
- Personnel management of professional staff in irrigation management organizations (hereafter known as farmland water conservancy personnel).
- Management of and revenue earning from assets belonging to the Farmland Water Conservancy Activities Operational Fund.
Policies:
- Strengthen the renewal and improvement of farmland irrigation facilities, enhance engineering quality and gender-friendly design to increase irrigation efficiency.
- Strengthen irrigation management, employ wisdom to more effectively allocate water sources, providing high quality and sufficient irrigation water.
- Strengthen the monitoring and treatment of waste water to maintain the agricultural production environment.
- Conduct an inventory of land managed and dispose of idle land to boost financial resources.

- Strengthen employee training and further education to improve work spirit and service quality.

- Coordinate the use of financial resources, verify and prepare annual budgets to create a sound financial framework.
